【JAPAN Expo Paris 2024】Promoting Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai in Paris, France!

Hello everyone. I have been promoting the upcoming Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan at the Japan Expo Paris 2024 held in Paris, France!
About 200,000 people gathered for the four-day event, and MYAKU-MYAKU, the official character of the Expo, made an appearance. We are pleased to report on the content of the event, which was a great success!

MYAKU-MYAKU arrives in Paris before the Olympics!

Japan Expo Paris 2024 was held from Thursday, July 11 to Sunday, July 14. As you may have noticed, it was held just before the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games (July 26-August 11). It could be said that the timing of the event was perfect, with the eyes of the world focused on Paris.

MYAKU-MYAKU landed in France. In fact, this was MYAKU-MYAKU’s third trip to France. He wondered if he would make many friends in France, and how the people of Paris would react to him. MYAKU-MYAKU was very excited!

By the way, MYAKU-MYAKU’s coloring is similar to the blue, white, and red tricolor used on the French flag. Don’t you think it blends in well with the cityscape?

Exhibition booth to promote Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai

The venue for Japan Expo Paris 2024, the Nord Villepinte exhibition hall in Paris, was filled with excitement as many people who love Japanese anime and manga came to see the show. Of course, many people also gathered at the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai exhibition booth.

More than 200 visitors to the booth sent out photos with MYAKU-MYAKU on social networking sites. The Embassy of Japan in France, COFREX (the company in charge of exhibiting at the France Pavilion), and other related parties visited the booth, and MYAKU-MYAKU was very popular, receiving many interviews from Japanese and local media!

Due in part to the effectiveness of the exhibition PR booth, a French travel agent contacted us after the event to say that they had received more inquiries about how to buy Expo tickets, etc., and it seemed that awareness of the Expo had increased!

It seems that French children were also interested in MYAKU-MYAKU, and we are looking forward to having more people visit Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai next year.

Great success at the stage event. Some even called out to MYAKU-MYAKU!

MYAKU-MYAKU was also very active on the event stage at the venue! He performed a 10-minute dance with “PSYCHIC FEVER,” a special supporter of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai.

The approximately 3,000 visitors even called out “MYAKU-MYAKU!” It was a moment when we felt that MYAKU-MYAKU had been accepted by the younger generation of French pop culture lovers.

We also visited the Kumamon Stage and participated in a kendama challenge with visitors. Many children and families participated here.

MYAKU-MYAKU also appeared on various other stages, including taking the stage when the winner of the “12th Extreme Cosplay Gathering,” a highlight for cosplay enthusiasts, was announced. It was truly a great success.

In France, a MYAKU-MYAKU photo session was also held in cooperation with the Japan Cultural Institute in Paris.
They posed high at various locations in Paris, including the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe!
