Difference between plum blossom, cherry blossom and peach blossom

So, in this article, we will discuss the difference between “peach”, “cherry” and “plum” blossom!

The difference between the petals of each flower

Cherry blossom

There is a notch at the tip of the cherry blossom petals.
The axis of the cherry blossoms is relatively long.

Cherry blossoms bloom downward.

Plum blossom

The petals of most plum trees are round.
Plum blossoms have short shafts.

Only one flower per node.
Plums are very fragrant, and plum fruits are used in foods and perfumes.

Peach blossom

Peach flowers have sharp tips on the petals.

Also, two peach blossoms bloom from a single node.

Plum and cherry blossoms produce leaves after their blossoms fall, but peach blossoms seem to produce leaves at the same time they bloom.

Differences in the blooming time of each flower

Generally, they bloom in the order of plum blossoms, then peaches, then cherry blossoms!

Cherry blossom season

Flowering occurs from mid-March to early May. It blooms in order from the southern region of Japan.

Plum blossom season

It blooms from late January to late April.
Some varieties may bloom in December.

Peach Blooming season

Blooms from mid-March to late April.
Due to differences in cold temperatures and regional differences, the blooming time of cherry blossoms and peaches may almost coincide.
