We’d like to introduce GO:KEYS 3 Minion, a digital keyboard that blends Japan’s unique culture of craftsmanship with the globally popular Minions. Whether you’re a music lover, a die-hard Minions fan, or are looking for your child’s first instrument, be sure to check it out.
A New Electronic Instrument That Brings Characters and Music to Life
In Japan, it’s common to see anime and characters seamlessly integrated into various aspects of daily life. From trains and cafes to stationery and home appliances, people of all ages—not just children—enjoy character culture.
At the same time, Japan is known as one of the world’s leading manufacturers of electronic musical instruments. Roland, a leading Japanese manufacturer of electronic musical instruments, including digital pianos, synthesizers, and electronic drums, has introduced an electronic keyboard that blends characters and music.
Released on September 19, 2026, the GO:KEYS 3 Minion is a collaboration with the globally popular Minions characters. This special edition model features original illustrations by Illumination and the characters’ voices.
It’s a new type of digital keyboard that offers an authentic musical experience through the characters’ endearing voices.
Enjoy Music While You Play
Keyboard instruments can sometimes seem a bit intimidating to beginners who have never played an instrument before or to young children. However, with the GO:KEYS 3 Minion, all you have to do is turn it on and play the keys to enjoy performances featuring the Minions’ character voices. The featured Minions are the familiar trio: Bob, Kevin, and Stuart.
The character voices change depending on how hard you press the keys, giving you the feeling that you’re playing alongside the characters. Even if you can’t play a musical instrument, this keyboard is designed so that beginners and children alike can easily enjoy experimenting with the changing voices.
In addition, it features five built-in songs using the Minions’ character voices, making it easy to naturally get a feel for rhythm and melody even without any musical knowledge. Not only does it give children a chance to develop an interest in music while playing, but it’s also a must-have for Minions fans.

It features a 61-key keyboard and comes with over 1,000 built-in sounds powered by Roland’s top-of-the-line “ZEN-Core” sound engine. With a wide range of sounds—including piano, strings, and synthesizers—players of all levels, from beginners to advanced musicians, can enjoy authentic performances.
It also features an auto-accompaniment function and a chord sequencer, making it suitable not only for playing but also for music production. You can use a Bluetooth connection to play along with music from your smartphone or sync with music apps.
In short, this model is more than just a character merchandise item; it’s a musical instrument that allows you to freely enjoy authentic music—whether as a gateway for beginners to start playing or as a new way for experienced musicians to enjoy music.
