Our own strict standards “10 Promises of Cosmetics”

1. At least 80% of plant materials* are grown naturally, in the wild, or without the use of pesticides, chemical fertilizers, or post-harvest pesticides during cultivation. *Plant oils, plant extracts, essential oils, etc.
2. We will disclose the origin of raw materials, including their place of origin and cultivation method, to the best of our ability.
3. Synthetic surfactants, whether derived from petroleum, plants, or other sources, will not be used.
4. Synthetic polymers and silicone oils are not used.
5. We do not use synthetic preservatives, but instead utilize the natural preservative properties of plants, temperature-controlled storage, airless containers, etc.
6. No ingredients derived from petroleum or genetically modified ingredients are used.
7. Carry-over ingredients (trace ingredients contained in ingredients that are not required to be labeled) will be included in all ingredients.
8. Fats, oils, extracts, etc. are extracted by natural methods without using petroleum-derived chemical solvents.

[Facial Soap]Indigo Balancing Soap

This solid soap is made from “Japanese indigo” using “Tade indigo (ai leaf/stem extract)” cultivated in Tokushima Prefecture, and is carefully produced using the “cold process method” in which the product is matured at a temperature of around 50°C for a long time. It can be used for both face and body.

This soap has a beautiful deep and vivid indigo color = Japan blue. You can feel the Japanese tradition just by picking it up. The fine, smooth lather makes for a pleasant, refreshing wash. There is no slippery feeling on the skin after washing, and the lavender fragrance is soothing.

[Skincare Water] White Birch Moist Water Set (set of refill and empty bottle)

This luxurious lotion contains birch sap (birch sap) collected mainly from the Mibuka-cho area in northern Hokkaido, without diluting it. It also contains moisturizing ingredients such as LPS (Pantoea buergeri culture fluid extract), hyaluronic acid, and betaine, all from apples grown naturally by Akinori Kimura, the model for the movie “The Miracle Apple.” Although the formula is simple, with a total of seven ingredients, the lotion alone is enough to keep the skin well hydrated.

[Skin Cream] Rice & Grape Radiance Cream SPF12 PA++ 30g

This beauty cream provides UV and dryness protection through the power of plants. It is a skincare cream that does not require rinsing off during the day or night, and is used after lotion or serum.
The “Rice & Grape” series features “rice malt extract (Aspergillus/rice fermentation extract),” which is made by fermenting pesticide-free brown rice with storehouse yeast, and “cellular water (rice extract),” which is rare water in rice grains, combined with sap from Japanese mountain grapes grown on farms in Iwate Prefecture that have not been sprayed with agricultural chemicals for over 50 years ( The product contains sap of Japanese mountain grape grown on a farm in Iwate Prefecture that has not been sprayed with pesticides for more than 50 years.

[Lip Cream] Phyto Energy Lip Cream

A beauty lip cream utilizing the moisturizing power of plants. Two types are available: “Amanatsu”, which contains astaxanthin, a vermilion-colored beauty ingredient produced by hematococcus algae and has a refreshing scent of Japanese summer tangerines; and “Prune”, which contains purple root, a dye used in herb and tree dyeing and popularly known as Edo purple.

[Review]
I used the Amanatsu and it has a very refreshing scent that makes me feel refreshed. The application was smooth and moist, and my lips felt full and plump.

[Hand Cream] Phyto Veil Hand Treatment Rose 50g

An anti-aging hand cream for age-prone hands. It contains ingredients that protect hand skin, including natural human ceramide extracted from soy sauce lees. The ingredients are upcycled from pearl oyster shells in Uwajima City, Ehime Prefecture, where pearl cultivation is flourishing, and each layer of the oyster shells is hand-polished into a powder. The product is enveloped in a gorgeous and elegant fragrance of damask rose.

[Review]
Since it is not sticky after application, it can be easily applied between computer work. The rose fragrance is soothing and perfect for freshening up between work and housework. It is great for moisturizing the skin on the hands as well as giving a glossy look due to the pearl oyster powder.

Makeup Cosmetics

[Lipstick] Rose Amulet Rouge

Lipstick can enter the mouth with food and drinks, and it is said that we eat as many as 30 lipsticks in our lifetime. This lipstick does not use synthetic colorants, cochineal, or even titanium dioxide, but only Sahime (hybrid rose flower), a pesticide-free edible rose from Shimane Prefecture, and natural minerals (iron oxide) to create a natural, colorful organic rouge. It contains plant oils to protect delicate lips from dryness and roughness. Two colors are available: “Natural Red,” which is closer to vermilion, and “Brown Beige,” which is closer to brown.

Even if you are not in the habit of wearing lipstick very often, it is moisturizing and can be used like a lip balm. I applied “Brown Beige” and loved its natural color and matte texture.

[Blush] Hibiscus Cheek -Powdery-

This blush is made from “Akabanaa,” a native Okinawan species of hibiscus (bussouge flower extract) grown on Miyakojima Island, Okinawa, without the use of pesticides. The beautiful red color of hibiscus is made from anthocyanin and carotenoids, which are components of the plant, and gives you beautiful skin. There are two color variations: Noble Pink and Pure Apricot.

[Review]
I’ve never used a hibiscus blush before! Pure Apricot is a soft color that blends well with the skin and gives a mature look. It keeps its coloring even after a long time, and I am glad that it is not drying.

Food

Brewed Koji mold, earthenware jar brewed Genmai Kurozu (brown rice black vinegar) 500ml　

This brown rice black vinegar is made from “naturally grown rice” and “koji mold” produced in Kyushu using an old-fashioned koji molding method, and then slowly fermented and aged in a special Satsuma-yaki kame-jar using the beautiful spring water from the foot of Mt. It can be used for daily dishes such as vinegared dishes, dressings, marinades, and vinegar drinks.

[Review]
I had an image of black vinegar as being peculiar, but it has a refreshing taste and is easy to use. Even when drunk as a vinegar drink, it has no unpleasant sourness and is delicious enough to soak into a tired body!

Naturally grown indigenous Japanese green tea powder 30g

This is a seedling native green tea grown by Mr. Nakao, a natural tea farmer in Kikuchi City, Kumamoto Prefecture, using neither pesticides nor fertilizers, but only the blessings of the sun, water, and soil. The tea is in powder form, so it is easy to drink by simply dissolving it in water or hot water. It is also easy to use for cooking and baking.

[Review]
It is aromatic and refreshing with little astringency or bitterness. It is a green tea that I would like to drink with not only Japanese sweets but also Western sweets. The powdered type makes it easy even for first-time green tea drinkers such as foreigners!

Japanese Wild Grape Beauty & Energy

This “mature concentrate juice” is made by squeezing the whole, fully ripe fruit of the Japanese mountain grape, a superfruit grown in the Kuji region of Iwate Prefecture, and maturing it in a vacuum for more than three years. Compared to ordinary grape fruits, the mountain grape fruit contains about 8 times more polyphenols, 3 times more iron, 6 times more calcium, 2 times more magnesium, 10 times more beta-carotene, and 11 times more vitamin E. It is a drink that is good for beauty and health.

It is made by boiling down the pesticide-free green ume grown by the producer, Fumiko Tokushige, over half a century in an earthen pot.The amount produced from 1 kg of green ume, excluding the seeds, is only 20 g.
The standard daily amount is 2 to 3 cups with the accompanying spoon.

[Review]
When I ingested it, expecting it to be very sour since it is ume extract, I found it to be mildly sour, followed by the sweet and delicious taste of ume in my mouth. I would like to take a little ume extract into my daily tired body, just as I would like to eat umeboshi when I am tired.
