The “Kawasaki City Fujiko・F・Fujio Museum,” where you can enjoy original artwork and video exhibits from “Doraemon”—one of Japan’s most iconic manga and anime series—has celebrated its 15th anniversary.

15th Anniversary of the Kawasaki City Fujiko・F・Fujio Museum
Fujiko・F・Fujio is known as the creator of “Doraemon” and “Perman.”
The “Kawasaki City Fujiko・F・Fujio Museum,” which opened on September 3, 2011, in Tama Ward, Kawasaki City—where he once lived—will celebrate its 15th anniversary in 2026.
The 15th-anniversary visual features a design in which the museum’s characters leap out into the sky, symbolizing their connection to the future.

As a facility where you can experience “dreams, hope, friendship, courage, boundless curiosity, and a kind heart that loves others,” you can enjoy original manga artwork, video exhibits, photo spots, and more.
Plus, there are various special events planned, including the 15th-anniversary original artwork exhibition, “Fujiko・F・Fujio Museum 15th Anniversary: Doraemon! The Secret Gadgets That Grant Wishes Exhibition.”
F Theater Ticket Design Redesign (Starting September 3)

To commemorate our 15th anniversary, we’re updating the design of the admission tickets for “F Theater,” the museum’s video exhibition room, for the first time since the museum opened.
There are a total of 31 different ticket designs. Each one features a carefully selected, memorable scene from the works of Fujiko・F・Fujio. You’ll have to wait until you receive your ticket to find out which design you get.

Two Direct Buses Begin Service with a New Design (Starting September 3)

The design of the direct bus connecting Noborito Station to the museum has been updated!
Starting September 3, two buses with the new design will be in service.
“A Dish with an ‘F’” Contest: Call for Entries and Announcement of Results
To commemorate the museum’s 15th anniversary, we held the “F’s Dish” contest, inviting fans to submit ideas for original menu items inspired by the works of Fujiko・F・Fujio.
The Grand Prize and Excellence Award-winning ideas are now available at the “Museum Café” on the 3rd floor.

To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the station’s opening, banners and videos featuring characters from Fujiko・F・Fujio’s works—including Doraemon—will liven up various spots throughout JR Kawasaki Station. Be sure to take some commemorative photos! *Starting Monday, August 24, in stages
New Capsule Toy Series Coming Soon (Starting September 3)

A new series has arrived for the hugely popular original capsule toys from the Fujiko・F・Fujio Museum!
This special lineup is timed to coincide with the currently running “Fujiko・F・Fujio Museum 15th Anniversary: Doraemon! The Secret Gadgets That Grant Wishes” exhibition.
Doraemon using his secret gadgets has been turned into charms.
Featuring meticulously crafted designs that capture scenes from the manga, each set also includes parts from the comic books where those stories appear.

15th Anniversary Commemorative Items—Perfect as Souvenirs (Starting September 3)
Fujiko Museum: Daishi Maki 2,480 yen

“Daishi-maki,” a Kanagawa Prefecture-certified specialty confection, is making a comeback in the museum’s original packaging!

Each individually wrapped package features a different character, making them perfect as souvenirs. Comes with original stickers.

To celebrate the museum’s 15th anniversary, a special 3-piece box set with foil stamping is available for a limited time. The branding has also been updated! Enjoy these three cute designs: the Time Machine, the Small Light, and the Takekopter (Dorami).

The Doraemon figurine with ears, originally released to commemorate the museum’s 5th anniversary, is making a comeback after about 10 years! It’s available in two versions: the VCD Doraemon with Ears (8,800 yen).

This year’s color is pink! With its soft hue that blends seamlessly into any interior, it’ll instantly brighten up your room. The number “15” is embroidered on the right foot, making it the perfect keepsake.
