A new product from an incense maker that has been around for over 360 years

Baieido Inc., a manufacturer of incense and incense sticks that has been in business for over 360 years since the Edo period, is a long-established manufacturer headquartered in Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture, which is famous for its high-class incense and incense sticks.

On sale from December 17, 2024 (Tuesday) are six incense products (three types and two forms) in a collaboration package designed by fashion brand “KEITA MARUYAMA,” which celebrated its 30th anniversary this year.
The fashionable package design with a Japanese atmosphere will make you want to pick them up!

Three types of products appeared in this collaboration package.
The oldest trademark “Kokonoe-ko” (registered in 1903), “Kobunboku” (registered in 1921), and “Kaiun-ko” (registered in 1967) are the three representative products of Baieido, and have been loved by many users for more than 100 years!

Fashion designer Keita Maruyama, known for his fusion of traditional Japanese culture and fashion, has created a product that expresses “wa” not only domestically but also internationally!

Designer Keita Maruyama　
Graduated from Bunka Fashion College.
He made his collection debut in 1994.
He participated in the 1994-95 Fall-Winter Tokyo Collection for the first time as “KEITA MARUYAMA TOKYO PARIS” and presented both men’s and women’s lines.
In 1996, he won the Newcomer’s Award at the 14th Mainichi Fashion Grand Prix and the Shiseido Encouragement Award, and opened a flagship store in Aoyama, Tokyo. He has presented his collections on the world stage in Tokyo, Paris, Hong Kong, Singapore, and elsewhere.
With the concept of “clothes to wear on a sunny day, clothes that fill your heart,” her feminine and ageless designs with delicate handwork and bold colors present KEITA MARUYAMA’s idea of a new mode of elegance.
In addition to her own brand, she is active in a wide range of fields, including costume production for musicians, actors, and stage productions, as well as brand direction.　
In 2016, the main store in Aoyama was reopened as a concept store “Maruyama Residence.”
2020: Launched “CASA KEITA,” a home collection dealing with interior and miscellaneous goods.
2021: Launch of KEITA MARUYAMA “OMOTASE” PROJECT. Produced original cookie tins and chocolate tins.
2024 Celebrated the 30th anniversary of the brand.
